LOOKING AFTER YOUR LINEN
At Giardino we are here to help you take the best care of your Linen products and hope this Care Guide will help your products last for a long time.
To achieve this we first of all strongly recommend to not utilise bleach, whitening detergents or any other types of chemicals.
Having spent so long at crafting our products and understanding the complexity of delivering such vivid colours through embroidery we highlight that following our Care Guide will maximise the longevity of your purchase.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN...
All of our table and bed linen is pre-washed and pre-shrunk allowing your purchase to be immediately used.
BED LINEN
Fabrics we use:
- Only the nobles of fabrics such as crispy percale, silky cotton sateen, cotton voile, organique American Supima and unique Sea Island Cotton.
Care Instructions
- Do not bleach; do not use whitening detergents
- Machine wash max 40°C / 105°F, use delicate or low spin cycle
- Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry
- Iron on reverse while damp, max 150°C / 300°F
TABLE LINEN

- Italian Linen
- Belgium Linen
- Turkish Linen
Care Instructions
- Do not bleach; do not use whitening detergents
- Machine wash max 30°C / 80°F, use delicate or low spin cycle
- Hang to dry; do not tumble dry
- Iron on reverse while damp, max 150°C / 300°F
TABLE LINEN - FOR MORE DELICATE PIECES...
Fabrics we use:
- Italian Linen
- Belgium Linen
- Turkish Linen
- Raw Silk
Care Instructions
- Do not bleach; do not use whitening detergents
- Machine wash max 30°C / 80°F, use delicate or low spin cycle, or hand wash
- Raw Silk placemats and runners must be washed by hand
- Hang to dry; do not tumble dry
- Iron on reverse while damp, max 150°C / 300°F
- Dry Clean Acceptable
LINEN HAND AND FINGERTIP TOWELS
Fabrics we use:
- Irish Linen
- Italian Linen
Care Instructions
- Machine wash max 30°C / 80°F, use delicate or low spin cycle
- Hang to dry
- Iron on reverse while damp, max 150°C / 300°F
- Do not bleach; do not use optical whitening detergents
- Do not Dry Clean
COTTON TERRY TOWELS
Fabric we use:
- 100% Organic Cotton Terry Towels 650 GSM
Care Instructions
- Do not bleach; do not use whitening detergents
- Machine wash max 60°C / 140°F
- Tumble dry on low heat, this will restore volume and loft to the towels
- Iron on low heat
